Tuna Crusted with Coriander and Peppercorns

Ingredients

4 x 170g (6oz) tuna steaks, fresh or defrosted
1.5 x 15ml spoon (one and a half tablespoons) mixed peppercorns
2 x 15ml spoon (2 tablespoons) coriander seeds
1 x 5ml spoon (1 teaspoon) olive oil

Serves 4

0g Carbohydrate; 5g Fat; 0g Fibre.

Method

Place the peppercorns and coriander seeds in a pestle and mortar and crush lightly.

Brush the tuna with the oil.  Spoon the crushed seeds over the tuna steaks and press into the flesh lightly.

Heat the griddle pan over a high heat.

Griddle the tuna for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Serve with stir-fry noodles and vegetables.
