Both boats are now ready to go. The Charisma set sail 17.00 hours and will arrive on the fishing grounds on Friday morning and will start fishing at 05.30hrs. We on the Nova Spero are due to leave Friday afternoon and hope to start fishing long last on Sunday morning. I am really excited that we are underway and I am looking forward to a successful first trip and season.It has taken a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get this far and I like to thank all those who have helped along the way, particularly the fishermen we spoke to in the Basque port of Bermeo.I would like to thank DEFRA for stumping up the money and the CFPO, especially big bird at the CFPO office, for the long hours he's put in to it, as well and Julia for the long hours she's about to put in too!Speak to you soon once we are fishing!
